What We’re Bringing to the PPI Rendezvous
At The Becky Valentine Foundation, purpose is more than a guiding principle. It influences how we build relationships, develop programs, and plan for the future. As we prepare to attend the Purposeful Planning Institute’s annual Rendezvous, our team is focused on the role of values in shaping meaningful legacies. The Rendezvous gathers a community of advisors, attorneys, nonprofit leaders, and philanthropists who all share a similar interest: connecting long-term wealth planning with personal and family values. It’s an event that encourages collaboration and conversation. For us, it is a place to both contribute and learn more about how purpose and planning go hand in hand.
Planning with Purpose Creates Lasting Change
When donors make decisions about their legacy, they’re choosing what kind of world they want to help create. Including a nonprofit in a planned gift can reflect deeply held priorities. For many, it is a way to ensure their values continue to influence lives long after they’re gone.
At The Becky Valentine Foundation, we support this kind of vision through our Lightkeeper Circle. This new initiative gives thoughtful donors a way to make a difference over time. It also creates a sense of belonging for those who want to align their financial planning with a long-term mission.
Each gift helps fund programs that lead to measurable results. Scholarships open doors for students with limited access to higher education. Support for education initiatives like Find My Genius helps children thrive in the summer months. Our investments in environmental education and conservation protect vulnerable ecosystems and benefit future generations.
What We Hope to Share at PPI
Attending the PPI Rendezvous gives us the chance to connect with professionals who understand how much purpose matters in financial planning. We’re coming with ideas, but we’re also bringing questions. We want to learn how to better engage donors in conversations about impact and intentionality.
This is an exciting time for our foundation. As we grow our planned giving efforts, we are looking to build strong relationships with those who guide families through the process of creating a legacy. We believe that collaboration between advisors and nonprofits leads to better outcomes for everyone involved.
If you’re attending PPI, we invite you to visit our exhibitor table. We’d love to talk about the work we’re doing and learn more about the ideas and tools that help families connect how purpose and planning go hand in hand.
